POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

 PROGRAM COORDINATOR 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Program Coordinator is responsible for care coordination for the individuals served.  The position ensures that the appropriate, high quality services and supports are provided to the individuals served through effective care coordination and advocacy.  The Program Coordinator serves as an integral part of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), and ensures that the Individual Service Plan (ISP) is implemented in a consistent, high quality manner. This position is responsible for ensuring staff understand how to fulfill the ISP, and ensure services are documented as prescribed.  The Program Coordinator assists individuals with accessing outside resources, such as physicians, recreational activities, etc, in order to meet individual goals and objectives.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED,  bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services or other related field strongly preferred.  One (1) year experience providing direct care to individual’s with developmental disabilities.   Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and able to work successfully as part of a team.  Must have a current valid driver’s license  and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards.  Must be able to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification.

LEAD SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

POSITION OVERVIEW:  The Lead Support Associate is responsible for delivering and supporting the delivery of high quality services that are documented in accordance with company policy.  This position provides mentoring support for Support Associates, serving as a training and information resource.  The Lead Support Associate also assumes responsibility for monitoring service documentation and ensuring the assigned service location is maintained according to client and company standards, 


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year experience providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.  High school diploma or equivalent
.  Current valid driver’s license with a good driving record and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Strong communication and organizational skills a must.

Positions available in RMS Ohio, Inc.: Northeast (Cuyahoga), Northwest (Lucas), Central (Franklin), and South Central (Montgomery) locations

OFFICE COORDINATOR(30-35 hrs per week)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Office Coordinator is responsible for preforming business functions that support efficiency in operations.  This position is responsible for ensuring that the regional office is accessible to employees and other stakeholders during business hours, and all resources and supplies are maintained accordingly. The Office Coordinator is responsible for managing personnel records, including supporting the onboarding of new employees, new hire and educational requirements.  The Office Coordinator will also work in conjunction with the Home Office to manage employee benefits, accounts payable, worker’s compensation, unemployment, and leaves of absence.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.  One (1) year previous experience with accounts payable, human resources management, and/or general office management.  Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills are essential.

Position available in RMS of Ohio, Inc—Northeast Region (Cleveland-Cuyahoga County)

 PROGRAM MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Program Manager is responsible for supervision and management of staff and the locations in which services are provided.  Responsibilities include staff supervision and training, maintaining schedules to support client needs, and home monitoring to ensure services are provided as prescribed by the individual service plan (ISP) within a safe and healthy environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED,  bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services or other related field strongly preferred.  Proven management and supervisory skills. One (1) year experience providing direct care to individual’s with developmental disabilities.   Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and able to work successfully as part of a team.  Must have a current valid driver’s license  and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards.  Must be able to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification.

SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Support Associate is responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma or GED. Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Previous experience with supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
