POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS 

POSITION OVERVIEW   The Regional Director of Operations has comprehensive management authority for the waiver services provided to individuals residing in the greater Dayton area.  This includes managing the programmatic, operational, financial and political elements essential to both maintaining existing business and growing new business opportunities.

 Responsibilities:  

            1.      Maintains and supervises an appropriate level of qualified staff to deliver quality services to consumers.  Supervises, either directly or indirectly, all regional administrative and direct care staff.

            2.      Insures program services are appropriately responsive to client needs and are delivered with consistency and high quality.

            3.      Manages financial resources, funding levels, and expenses consistent with budget expectations.

            4.      Provides overall direction to all aspects of the business within the region through the use of strategic planning tools.

            5.      Fosters strong, positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly with local county boards of developmental disabilities.

            6.      Seeks and develops opportunities to expand business.

            7.      Fosters a positive, collaborative work culture that establishes a focus on client service, staff development, and mentoring.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

            1.      Experience with and comprehensive understanding of managing relationships with state, county and local agencies, funding relationships.

            2.      Positive motivational leader with ability to select, hire, train, manage and retain key regional staff team members.

            3.      Innovative thinker, able to modify business practices to meet client needs.

            4.      Solid computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office software and the internet

            5.      A bachelor’s degree in a human service field, professional licensure (i.e. RN, SW, ISW, etc.), or equivalent commensurate experience.  A minimum five years managing operations in a human services organization, preferred

            6.      Current Ohio driver’s license and compliance with Ohio driver’s liability insurance standards

SYSTEMS MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Systems Manager is responsible for providing management oversight and staff supervision of supported living services.  The Systems Manager ensures that staff are trained and adequate in number to provide the services and supports prescribed in the individuals Individual Support Plan (ISP).  This position works collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure the delivery of high quality services.  This position requires a flexible schedule and the commitment to routinely provide direct support services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma or GED.  One (1) year experience in a supervisory role.  Previous experience providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.  Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Previous experience with supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

 SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Support Associate is responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma or GED. Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Previous experience with supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

  • FULL AND PART TIME—2nd shift, requires weekend availability
  • 1st shift weekends available
Northwest Region (Toledo—Lucas County)
  • FULL AND PART TIME, must be able to work every other weekend
North Central Region (Lima—Allen, Auglaize & Putnam Counties)
  • FULL AND PART TIME, must be able to work every other weekend

DAY SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Day Support Associate is responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers participating in our Adult Day Services Program.  The Day Support Associate ensures the activities offered at the program are consistent with the individual’s preferences, as stated in the ISP.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma or GED. Current valid driver’s license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification. Previous experience with supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
